OUR GOALS
We have 17 months before the primary. Senator Patrick has said if he was to run he would enter the race in July 2009 (13 months). That time will be the most important part of our effort! On November 5th 2008 I want to start advertising for our cause. That will give us several months to spread the word of Senator Patrick. Between now and then we need to raise money and build a coalition. If you are a campaign expert in the areas of fundraising or finance laws we need your help! We want this group to be 100% legal and we are going to turn it into a PAC when we are legally required to.
Your donations will go to creating promotional materials and advertising. I have already been in communication with Drudge Report and other websites about their rates. A donation of just $100 will allow us to have 20,000 impressions on Drudge Report! A donation of $1000 will allow us to have a very competitve campaign. That single donation will be enough for us to purchase 250 bumper stickers, 100 yard signs with wires, 1000 lapel stickers, a large parade banner and more.. If we can do that with $1000 just think what $5000 would do! Every little bit helps and we really appricate all support and we will do what we can to remain transparent to our donors. If we were to take these bumper stickers and signs to the meetings of local Republican clubs we would be able to gain a lot of support! Imagine a roadside rally in the heart of Senator Patrick's district above I-45 with our banner and several signs a year before the primary. That would create the needed buzz to draft Senator Patrick.
