When Dan first arrived in Austin he went straight to work. Most senators hide in the background when first elected, Dan stood up and wrote a bill to kill the famous "Blocker Bill" and the rest of the senate laughed. He stood up to get an extension on the "business tax" and he is currently fighting for a special session to repeal this new tax. He is also fighting to create a full time legislator so next time it doesn't take two years to repeal a bad law.
